Why Participants Choose Mekong Advisors

An approach built for those who prefer to think before they act

Small Groups Only

Each session holds a maximum of ten participants so that discussion remains personal and unhurried. There is space to ask the question you have been carrying for years.

Grounded in Thailand

Content is framed around the financial realities of living in Thailand — Thai regulatory context, provident fund considerations, baht-denominated planning, and the local cost of later life.

Materials You Keep

Every workshop includes printed materials — notebooks, prompt sheets, reference packets — that are useful long after the session ends, not slides that disappear from a shared link.

Education, Not Sales

Mekong Advisors does not sell financial products. The workshops are education. Participants leave with clearer thinking, not a product recommendation in hand.

Paced for Adults

The pace is deliberate. Sessions are not designed for those who want rapid conclusions but for those who value the time to understand something properly before moving on.

Candid About Limits

The facilitator is clear about what these workshops are — and what they are not. You will not receive personalised advice. You will receive a better set of questions to take to your own advisors.

A Workshop Worth Taking Your Time Over

Places in each session are limited deliberately. If you would like to hold a seat or simply ask a question before committing, write to us or call. There is no pressure and no script.

Frequently Asked Questions

Practical answers to questions we hear often

Who are these workshops for? +
The workshops are designed for adults aged 40 and over who are thinking more carefully about their financial situation — whether they are still working, approaching retirement, or already in it. No prior financial knowledge is required. The content begins from the assumption that participants are thoughtful people who have not necessarily had formal financial education.
Do I need to take the workshops in a particular order? +
No. Each workshop is self-contained. You may choose the one most relevant to your situation and attend that alone. Some participants attend more than one over time, but there is no required sequence.
Are the workshops conducted in English? +
Yes. All sessions are conducted in English. Written materials are in English. If you have questions about accessibility in another language, please contact us directly.
Where do the sessions take place? +
Sessions are held at our space in Phaya Thai, Bangkok, at 358 Phahonyothin Road. The area is accessible from the BTS Ari and Saphan Khwai stations. Detailed directions are sent to confirmed participants.
What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy? +
We ask for at least seven days' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Places may be transferred to a future session of the same workshop. Full details are provided at the time of booking.
Is the content personalised financial advice? +
No. These are educational workshops. The facilitator presents frameworks, literature, and general information. Nothing shared in a session constitutes a recommendation for your particular circumstances. For personal advice, participants are encouraged to consult a licensed financial planner.
How do I pay the workshop fee? +
Payment is by bank transfer in Thai baht. Details are provided once your enquiry is confirmed. We do not require payment before we have spoken with you and confirmed a suitable session date.
