1. Definitions

• "Agreement" means these Terms & Conditions and any booking confirmation.
• "Workshop" or "Programme" means any educational session offered by Mekong Advisors.
• "Participant" or "You" means any person who books or attends a workshop.
• "We", "Us", "Our" means Mekong Advisors.
• "Content" means all materials, including printed booklets, notebooks, reference packets, and facilitated session content, provided as part of a workshop.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a booking enquiry or attending a workshop, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms. You must be at least 18 years of age to book a workshop. By proceeding, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Description of Services

Mekong Advisors provides financial education workshops in a small-group setting in Bangkok, Thailand. Currently offered programmes include: The Quiet Investor's Notebook (three evenings), Currency, Travel and Cross-Border Money (one day), and Considered Withdrawal: Drawing on Savings in Later Life (four sessions over two months).

Sessions are held in person at 358 Phahonyothin Road, Phaya Thai, Bangkok. We do not currently offer remote or online sessions. We reserve the right to modify the schedule, venue, or programme content with reasonable notice to confirmed participants.

4. Educational Nature of Content

All workshop content is provided for educational purposes only. Nothing presented in a Mekong Advisors workshop constitutes financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, or any form of regulated financial service. Mekong Advisors is not a licensed financial adviser. Participants should consult qualified licensed professionals for advice specific to their personal circumstances.

5. Booking and Payment

• Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment of the applicable workshop fee in Thai baht.
• Payment is by bank transfer. Bank details are provided on booking confirmation.
• Workshop fees: The Quiet Investor's Notebook — ฿5,300; Currency, Travel and Cross-Border Money — ฿8,600; Considered Withdrawal — ฿11,200. Fees are per participant and include all printed materials.
• Prices are subject to change. The fee applicable at the time of your booking confirmation will apply.
• Places are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment secures your place.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Cancellations made at least seven calendar days before the session date: your place may be transferred to a future session of the same workshop at no additional charge, or a credit note issued for use within twelve months.
• Cancellations made fewer than seven days before the session: no credit or transfer is available unless we are unable to run the session.
• If Mekong Advisors cancels a session for any reason, confirmed participants will be offered a full credit transferable to another session, or a refund of the fee paid.
• Rescheduling requests (transferring your booking to a different date) may be made once without charge, provided at least seven days' notice is given.

7. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to engage respectfully with the facilitator and other participants. We reserve the right to ask a participant to leave a session if their conduct is disruptive or disrespectful. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

8. Intellectual Property

All workshop content — including facilitated material, printed booklets, notebooks, prompt sheets, and reference packets — is the intellectual property of Mekong Advisors. Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the materials for their own private purposes. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any content without written permission is not permitted.

9. Confidentiality

What participants share in a session is shared in confidence. Mekong Advisors will not repeat or disclose personal information shared by participants to anyone outside the session. We ask participants to extend the same courtesy to other attendees.

10. Disclaimers

Workshops are provided as educational resources. We make reasonable efforts to ensure content is accurate and current, but we do not warrant that all information is complete, accurate, or applicable to your personal situation. Thai regulatory information is current as of the date of the session and may change after the workshop takes place.

We do not guarantee any particular financial outcome as a result of attending a workshop. Education is a tool for better thinking; it does not determine results.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Mekong Advisors' liability to any participant is limited to the fee paid for the relevant workshop. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from attendance or non-attendance, reliance on workshop content, or any decision made by a participant following a session.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to provide a session due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural events, civil disruption, public health emergencies, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will offer participants a credit or rescheduled session as soon as practicable.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from these terms or from participation in a workshop shall first be addressed informally by contacting us at [email protected]. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints within 14 working days. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

14. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: these terms, together with any booking confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between us.
• Severability: if any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
• Waiver: failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment: participants may not transfer their booking or rights under this agreement to another person without our written consent.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking confirmation will apply to your booking. The most current version will always be available on this page.
